Luisa Anderson is a psychotherapist, student advocate, consultant, ADHD coach, mother, and teacher who is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.  She holds a Master's degree in School Counseling and a Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling, and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. She also has a couple other degrees ;-)

Luisa has vast experience with children, teens and adults in school and clinical settings. She has worked as a school counselor (aka guidance counselor) in public schools and as a psychotherapist in clinical settings. She started her career as a teacher about 22 years ago, as a school counselor about 10 years ago and as a therapist about 3 years ago.

As a licensed mental health counselor, Luisa's scope of practice includes:

• Assessment and Diagnosis: Evaluating and diagnosing emotional and mental disorders, such as anxiety, depression, and substance use issues.
   
• Therapeutic Services: Providing psychotherapy to adults, teenagers and children to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
   
• Treatment Planning: Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to clients' needs, including behavior modification and crisis intervention.
   
• Consultation: Offering guidance to clients and collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
   
• Education: Providing information and education to clients to support mental health and well-being.
